 Asia Cement and Jalaprathan Cement have given priority to promoting the Italcementi Group Safety Policy in order to ensure zero accidents in their plants.
The safety program includes the implementation of working groups, the creation of specifc safety functions and responsibilities at both management and supervisor levels, and the development of communication initiatives to promote safety awareness among all staff.
Thanks to the strong co-operation of staff at all levels, Pukrang and Cha-am plants have successfully attained a record of 1,000 days with zero accidents (defined as serious accidents which cause a break down in production) and Takli plant has successfully reached 500 days with zero accidents.
